Kebagusan Urban Village Head, Rudi Budijanto stated that before the arrangement, the area had become unused land, which was often used as a place for illegal waste disposal site and for scavengers to park their carts.
"We do persuasive methods with related elements to them. So, they finally understand and are willing to leave the area," he explained, Monday (9/23).
Jalan Bang Pitung Arrangement CompletedHe explained the arrangement on the land as long as 65 meters and four meters wide involved 12 personnel of PPSU.
"It has been ongoing since July 2024 which involves the South Jakarta Tamhut, Bina Marga, and Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agencies," he explained.
He added the location that has been arranged is named Taman Asmi. Besides various ornamental plants such as, Taiwan Beauty, Patah Tulang, Bombay Silk, Red Purslane, Zinia, Red Japanese Jasmine, Yellow Philo, and Lavender at the location also made a mural and completed with a pair of Ondel-ondel statues.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), the work is completed on time. Hope it can give many benefits for residents," he added.
The work received appreciation from a resident, Zuhri (52).
"Very nice and looks very beautiful in this area. Especially with the murals that make this area more aesthetic," he stated.
